There are so many things I don't understand about people, that we don't understand about eachother. I feel like I know the majority of the people in my life and then realize that I actually do not. At all. I like to drive by myself at night, atleast 30 miles over the speed limit, and think. I run red lights and hope that the outcome will be alright. We are such complex human beings. Christmas has a different connotation this year. I don't like it. The whole season is so materialistic, so filled with greed, that you just have to stop yourself once and a while and remember what's important.

This photo made me cry tonight. I was hysterical in a room full of serious Manhattan artists and politicians, adorned with black-rimmed glasses and goatees. It doesn't seem to be the sort of picture that would make one cry but just read the text that was next to it.
I've decided that one summer (preferably within the next few years) I am going go to a third-world country, preferably in South or Central America, and document it in photos. I will indeed.
